FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL HELP PROLONG THE LIFE YOUR DOUBLE DIAMOND SWIMMERS. ALL OF OPTIMUM SWIMBAITS ARE HANDPOURED IN CALIFORNIA AND FEATURE A SOFT PLIABLE PLASTIC. WE WANT YOU TO CATCH AS MANY FISH AS POSSIBLE, SO TRY RIGGING YOUR DOUBLE DIAMONDS LIKE THIS. THE FIRST SET UP IS HOW BASS ELITE ANGLER, FRED ROUMBANIS, RIGS HIS SWIM JIGS FROM PEPPER CUSTOM JIGS.

#1. The 3" Double Diamonds come in a custom clamshell with 3 pieces.

#2. Besides your jighead and the Double Diamond, you will need a pair of scissors.

#3. About 1 cm from the tip of the bait you will see a line.

#4 Take your scissors and make a flush cut about 1cm past the line mark.

#5. By cutting the tip back, there is a lot more surface area to work with now. When using an offset hook there is no need to cut it back.

#6. Notice the size of the hook keepers. They are good size so the extra surface area will allow the bait to stay on properly and won't tear as easy.

When rigging, make sure the bait is threaded on the hook strait. This ensures proper action!

Now you are ready to go catch the fish of your dreams. These rigging instructions apply for all typese of jigs and jigheads.

SO CAL GUIDE RUSTY BROWN USED THE OPTIMUM 5″ BLT AND 4″ TOP OF THE LINE IN THE AYU PATTERN AT DIAMOND VALLEY LAKE TO LAND THESE HEALTHY BASS. HE ALSO FISHED OUT AT LAKE HAVASU AND USED THE SUNFISH PATTERN IN THE LINE THRUS TO DO REAL WELL.

Swimbaits are working at Amistad now. Get down there and bring your Optimum Swimbaits. Reports are coming in that the other lakes in Texas are kicking out nice fish on the Optimum swimbaits, but the guys don’t want to give it up…. Tough!

Former Japanese National Record Holder and Optimum Pro Staffer, Kazuya Shimada, spent the week before Easter at the San Diego Lakes. He was trophy hunting for the big girls and came up short. This was the biggest of his trip.

BABY KAHARA FROG

The Baby Kahara Frog fills the need for a miniature sized frog, and at the same time this realistic looking and feeling amphibian is quite impactful in the water.

It features a stainless rattle within the body for a extra wake up call, and the body form allows the bait to slide flawlessly through the thickest of weeds.

The rear weight is made out of an environmentally safe zinc plate enabling long distance casting and also prevents the bait from landing upside down.

Dog walking is extremly easy with this mini frog and the super soft silicon skirt provides for extra appeal at rest.

There is a 0.8mm connecting eye in the rear for the anglers that like to add blade modifications.

The Baby Kahara Frog makes for an easy meal at 1/4oz in weight and 1.75 inches long.It features a #3 size hook.
