The “Clinghead Jig” has a unique head shape and horizontal line tie, allowing you to get it intentionally stuck to get bites. Even if you don’t get a bite around structure, it is great for coming free so you can move to the next one and try again. Many anglers avoid structure for fear of getting snagged, but this is where bass live. This innovative jig was carefully designed not to avoid structure but to use it to your advantage.

A football head jig with a low center of gravity and horizontal line eye.
The football-shaped head keeps the bait from tipping over and the horizontal line tie keeps the knot fixed. This allows the bait to get intentionally stuck around branches and rocks to lure bass. Even if you don’t get a bite when it makes contact with the cover, you can get the bait to rise and reduce snagging as you move to the next piece of structure or cover and try it again. The low-center-of-gravity head has a vertical fall, so you can track along the structure as the bait falls.
Hook & Trailer Keeper
The wide-gap hook is designed to hook fish in the upper jaw and pierce deeply. The shorter shank helps the trailer move better, and the trailer keeper secures the bait in place.
GUARD
The weedguard does not require modification and is perfect for conquering structure.
SKIRT
The skirt is shorter above the head, generating a tight vibration that attracts bass. This also acts as resistance to slow the fall speed and distance the bait moves. The longer skirt on the bottom appeals to fish because it flares and does not stay the same shape when the jig moves.
