SOFT BAIT
The wobbling shad tail swimbait
“Bumble Shad” is a new concept swimbait that realistically reproduces the movement of baitfish with a wobbling action that is different from conventional soft swimbaits.
The sides of the body are flat and there are two different plastic materials for a specific reason, with the belly section softer and containing salt and the top section featuring a more rigid plastic. This gives the bait better side-to-side movement and creates a wobbling action in rolling waves toward the tail. Combined with the slightly vibrating stabilizer fin, it gives the bait a unique look, like a fleeing baitfish.
The power of the Bumble Shad comes from the wobbling action, which was developed through the shape of the bait and plastic used. It worked immediately after a legendary catch that included four bass over 60 cm (23.6 inches) in a single day and one fish over 70 cm (27.5 inches) shortly after it was released.

HALF SALT BODY
The 6-inch version of the bait is poured in two layers, with the belly being a soft material that contains 30% salt to give it high specific gravity. The top section has no salt and uses a harder plastic material. This allows the bait to have a stable and unique swimming action. The 4-inch is made of non-salt material for both the top and bottom of the body but still has a tremendous wobbling action.
STABILIZER FIN
The fin tail, which suppresses roll, also creates a unique action in the tail because of the wobbling from the body. This action is unique from other soft swimbaits.
MATCHED RIGS
There are several ways to rig the Bumble Shad, including weedless on the Bumblehead or the Hyperfootball head. The football head works well for fishing uphill from deep to shallow water. They also work very well on the back of a swim jig.
With Texas-rigs and weightless rigs, it’s also effective as a weedless swimbait that can be fished in any cover.
RIGGING
If the bait comes free on a jighead, it can be fixed with superglue, setting the Bumble Shad in place. Also, when rigging, insert the jighead slightly below the face of the bait to give it the best swimming posture.
colors
Depending on the plastic material and salt content, there will also be some variance of colors, so even some of the same colors can look different.
The recommended hook sizes may vary based on the brand, as some manufacturers vary. Please select the correct hook based on the bait size.
