“Kinku” is a name that is synonymous with straight worms that work when fishing is tough and for pressured fish. The “Kincoo Air” has the same profile but has been redesigned with added air holes. They are embedded in the entire body and give the bait more flexibility and buoyancy. Also, when the bait is falling, the bass can feel the vibration with their lateral line and it looks like an easy meal.
The body has fine ribs that grab water and the straight shape and long knife-tail flutters as it falls. It’s a versatile bait that can be fished many different ways, from jig heads to Texas-Rigs. It’s also great on a wacky-rig and anglers keep finding more ways to catch fish with it.

BODY
The body of the bait has small, fine ribs that have action even with slight movements. The long tail flutters and produces micro vibrations that get fish to bite. For Neko Rigs, use a small surgical tube or O-ring for best results. The head of the bait is strong enough that a jig head or nail sinker won’t damage it.
MATERIAL
The plastic used has a unique crustacean scent made from crushing small crawfish and shrimp, which bass love. The plastic is also an ultra-soft material, but still very strong.
The salt concentration is as follows: 13 inch = 5% salt content, 7.8 inch = salt content 15%, 5.8 and 4.8 inch = 20% salt content. The taste from the salt and added scent ensures that the bass will bite and hold it for a long time, giving you extra time to set the hook.
AIR HOLE
The air holes are embedded in the entire body and give the bait an erratic and unpredictable action with the addition of bubbles. This generates some vicious strikes because fish are not used to seeing something like it. The realistic texture also helps so the bass bite it and won’t let go, allowing you to get a great hook set.
ACTION
When fished on a jig head or Texas-rig, the ribs of the body create vibration and a it has a gentle spiraling action as it falls. The knife-edge tail also helps to get the fish to bite. This falling action is great for suspended bass from summer to fall.
Slight line tension is great for a wacky-rig because the thick body of the bait will create a resistance as it falls. When fished with a long pause or “deadstick” the bait will have a unique shimmer from the tail, which can be very effective when the fishing is tough.
