KORRIGAN MR CRANK BAIT
The Corrigan is a special crankbait with a unique diving action because of the lip’s water resistance. The vibration intermittently releases, and the crankbait has an “escape” action that triggers the bass to bite.
The squared back of the bait, with a horizontal lip and flat sides and shoulders, helps with casting and gives it great action. It’s excellent for scouring the bottom without getting stuck. The SR model has a diving depth of 1.2 to 1.5 (4-5 feet), and the MR will reach 2.0 to 2.5m (6.5-8 feet), giving you options.
The Corrigan baits are versatile and you can attack shallow and mid-depth wood and rocks.

The squared back gives it big action despite its small size. It has high buoyancy and wide, sharp wobbling. It also casts great and has a stable flight for more casting accuracy.
MR MODEL SETTING / RATTLE SOUND
The rattle and fixed weight, located from the center of the bait to the front, are set to a balance that allows the lure to float up while maintaining a forward-leaning posture when paused. This helps to keep the bait from getting stuck, which is crucial for medium-running crankbaits. The design also helps to reduce foul hooking your line when pausing the bait. The bait has a “slip-through” action that comes through cover and gets bite.
WIDE WOBBLE & KICKBACK ACTION
The kickback action started with the DC-300 Kickbacker, where the lip of the bait moves the lure intermittently during the retrieve. It’s a trick action that will get bites, even when the lure is not making contact with cover or on the bottom. This is built into the KORRIGAN MR and gets bites even from bass that are in a neutral mood and suspended in the water column.
LIP DESIGN
The horizontal lip is durable and keeps the bait from getting hung up, allowing you to fish along the bottom without any issues, even around rocks, trees, and riprap.
HOOK PLACEMENT
The hook hangers are set horizontally to reduce the amount of play in the front and back hooks. The design also gives plenty of space between the hooks so they don’t foul, even when using oversized hooks.

If the bait is placed in direct sunlight, in a car, tackle box while fishing, or in other high-temperature locations, the air inside the bait may expand due to the temperature difference. This can cause deformation, cracks, and other damage.
