The tail section that follows behind the bait as it crawls on these surface an the Colorado blade (NZ crawler # 4 / Jr. # 2) spins as it follows the rest of the bait. The blade generates flas and scratching souths as it hits the body. A propeller can be attached the tail section for more appeal.
