Rubber cushioning parts can be torn from chain and attached to line to protect knots.
ZAPPU’s “CHAIN CUSHION” was developed with the popularity of the free rig in mind, but it also works for Texas rigs. It prevents damage to your knot caused by weights on all rigs, including a Carolina rig.

Five pieces are in a chain, so you don’t lose it, even if you drop it while rigging. They are connected in a chain so that even if you drop one, you can easily find it and continue. In addition to protecting your knot from damage from weights, you can also use it to secure trailer hooks.

Sizes: M (4.5 mm) and L (5.3 mm); both come with 30 pieces per pack. The hole diameter for M and L is 1mm, which works for lines over 20lb test diameter.
Instructions:
1. Hold the chain while still connected
2. Insert your line through one of the cushions
3. Tear off the cushion from the chain after the line is passed through
4. Complete the rigging
